Application:
The 15/25 series of off-line fine filters are used for the maintenance of fluids for
power transmission, lubrication, cooling and control systems.
The light and compact LG series filters are especially suited for filtration on high yield hydraulic systems due to their high circulation capacity.
Function:
The filter pump draws fluid from the system tank, at the lowest point, and passes through
the filter element (passing outside to inside). The fluid then flows down through the
center opening in the filter element and exits the filter housing through a port in the
bottom center of the filter base. The fluid is then returned to the system tank close to
the main pump suction line.
The pressure drop over the filter - and the contaminant absorption of the filter element - is measured by the pressure gauge on the top of the filter housing.
