Application:
The HDU 27/-series of off-line fine filters are used for the maintenance of fluids for
power transmission, lubrication, cooling, and control systems.
Function:
The filter pump sucks fluid, e.g. from a tank, and presses it through the filter element.
From the centre of the element the fluid flows through the filter base back to the tank.
The pressure drop over the filter - and consequently the contaminant absorption of the filter element - can be monitored on the pressure gauge on the top of the filter
The filter is installed with a suction line connected to the most contaminated point in the system tank - preferably to the bottom drain, if existing.
